Escallonia ‘Apple Blossom’ is a glossy leaved evergreen shrub with pretty, apple blossom pink blooms. The flowers are chalice-shaped, since the petals open outwards at their ends and then curve round the open mouth of the flower. Like most Escallonia, this makes a good hedging plant, especially in coastal areas, and can be close clipped to maintain a dense habit of growth.
